My name is Ruth Idota, one of the 2023 thriving hand in hand mentees. It’s been 6 months of mentoring under UI/UX career path and personal development.
I got to know about the program via Instagram. Just starting out in my career I needed someone who could walk me through this path. Having experienced some setbacks in my previous career path because I couldn’t find my way around so I had to leverage on this mentorship program.
It has been a wonderful experience at the mentorship program.
My career was not just impacted but my life generally.
It gave me focus. Before the mentorship program, I couldn’t really decide what career path to focus on but during the mentorship program, I got focus.
As a result, I’m in the processing of upscaling to become a product designer through internship programs
Mentorship program is what anybody should consider especially if you’re just getting started in a career path, or you’re trying to find your feet in life.
I sincerely want to appreciate the organizers of this program, like I lack words to express how grateful I am for this opportunity.
