Venturing into the world of data wasn’t exactly in my comfort zone. I was drowning in information overload, and the jargon sounded like a foreign language, but here I am today, excited about Data Analytics.
I joined the 2023 Thriving Hand-in-Hand (THnH) Mentoring Programme, which has been exciting. I went from staring blankly at charts to crafting narratives from data. I was trained in Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
My mentor did a great job in taking the basics deeply, which formed the foundation for my knowledge of Data Analytics. He is a focused problem-solver and a confidence booster.
I am excited to say that I have put my newfound skills to the real test. Analyzing customer behaviour for a food-based local vendor, and a wine store where they have experienced more stability in inflow and tracing their shortages where and when necessary. This has been an amazing experience.
